personal health care coverage information at your
convenience, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. DeanConnect is your complete member portal
- creating an on-demand experience to manage your health plan information, request member
materials and stay in touch with plan changes, all with the click of your mouse.
 These are just some of the exciting features of DeanConnect:

Another great reason to use DeanConnect is to utilize the online Wellness Center. The Wellness
Center is a comprehensive health improvement and wellness education portal where members
can read more on how to prevent disease, manage chronic health conditions and take wellness
assessment quizzes. DeanConnect also features a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) tool. This is a free
and confidential assessment that gives you an immediate snapshot of your current health status,
along with recommendations for making lifestyle changes. Together the HRA and Wellness Center
can help identify your health strengths and weaknesses and how to change your lifestyle so that
you can successfully achieve your health goals.

WIN Program Changes for 2010
Dean Health Plan has made changes to the Wellness Incentives Now (WIN) Program for 2010.

 Make Sure to Swap Your ID Card
By now you have probably received a new ID card from Dean Health Plan. We have
recently made changes to the ID card to ease the claims process when receiving urgent
or emergency care. This change requires us to issue new cards to all members. If you have
not done so already, please make sure you swap out your old ID card with the one you
received most recently.
