Faith Regional Health Resource Center This American Cancer Society program for women undergoing cancer treatment offers participants an opportunity to learn about makeup techniques, skin care, nail care, and options related to hair loss such as wigs, turbans, and scarves. Each participant receives a free cosmetics kit for use during and after the workshop.

Tai Chi
February 15–May 5Noon to 1 p.m., East Campus
Would you like to enhance balance, reduce stress, and increase strength? Join us for this 12-week series (24 sessions) to learn tai chi. Anyone can perform tai chi, which is especially beneficial for seniors or those who need to enhance balance. Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays and are taught by certified tai chi instructors.
Cost: $48 or $2 per session
Positive Discipline — Parents 1, 2, 3, 4 Education Series
March 2, 9, 166 to 7:30 p.m.
Faith Regional Health Resource Center This educational series is for parents, grandparents, and caregivers of children ages 1 to 5. Learn about strengthening the bonds you have with your children and how choices, routines, and positive interactions can increase your child’s school readiness and self-control. Must commit to all three sessions. Book and refreshments included.

“I Can Cope” Cancer Education Series
April 8, 15, 22, 29Noon to 1 p.m.
Faith Regional Health Resource Center This American Cancer Society educational program teaches adults with cancer and their families about different aspects of cancer, including managing the effects of illness and treatment, and keeping well in mind, body, and spiritual reflections. Complimentary lunch provided. Call and register for one or all dates.

Health Trek
April 19–May 31This friendly team competition is open to all businesses, organizations, and individuals. Points are earned for exercising and making other healthy lifestyle choices. It’s a fun and easy way to get in shape for summer with the encouragement of a team! Participants receive a T-shirt and weekly team standings, and are eligible for randomly drawn prizes.

Childbirth Education
Available dates: January 9, February 6,
March 6, April 10, May 18 a.m. to 4 p.m., West Campus
This class will help prepare the expectant mother for the process of labor and delivery of her newborn. Stages of labor and breathing and relaxation techniques are presented and practiced. Educational handbook is provided for each participant/couple.

Childbirth Education Refresher
Available dates: January 27, March 24, May 267 to 9 p.m., West Campus
This refresher course for expectant mothers who have completed the childbirth education class reviews the labor process and relaxation and breathing techniques. Educational handbook is provided for each participant/couple.

Child, Infant, and Adult CPR and First Aid
Available dates: January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, May 127 to 10 p.m.
Faith Regional Health Resource Center Learn to perform adult, child, and infant CPR and pediatric first aid. Ideal for daycare providers, parents, grandparents, and anyone interested in learning lifesaving skills!

Breastfeeding
Available dates: January 20, February 24, March 17, April 21, May 197 to 9:30 p.m., West Campus
Learn techniques for successful breastfeeding, including infant cues and breastfeeding positions. Ideal for expectant and new mothers. Handbook is provided to each participant.

Sibling Class
Available dates: January 12, March 9, May 11 7 to 8 p.m., West Campus This class is designed for siblings expecting to be a new big brother or big sister. An overview of newborn needs is presented. Cost: $5 per childEVENTS
