Patient Safety at Nevada Regional
Medical Center

At Nevada Regional Medical Center, we come to work to do a great job, and to provide safe health care for our friends and neighbors. We know that health care is very complex, and technology is always changing. NRMC continuously seeks ways to improve patient care and safety. We participate in external safety and quality inspections and comply with standards set by organizations such as The Joint Commission, College of American Pathologists, Department of Health and Senior Services and the Missouri Center for Patient Safety.

In order to ensure that we continue to meet the highest standards, we measure our performance in many areas of patient care. This data is reviewed for trends and patterns by our senior management, physicians and Board of Directors and used to guide our delivery of care. Our patients are why we’re here, and keeping them safe is our first priority.

By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety, Nevada Regional Medical Center has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval.
